Rethink Things shares uplifting stories that inspire us to reimagine the relationship we have with our things. Our journalists - we like to call them thought travellers - bring new perspectives on matters such as consumption, economic growth, our current linear and future circular economy, and the second-hand movement.
An important part of this is sharing the stories of the pioneers that rethink our material culture, building an ever-expanding pioneer database. Both through interviewing them or, when we are too intimidated to call them, by writing about them in our own words. We highlight what you can learn from each pioneer, inspiring you to join the revolution.
Are we journalists? Activist? Revolutionists? Perhaps we're all, perhaps we're none. We don't know. What we do know is that we're on a mission to discover a new material culture, a new way of owning, living and thriving. It's a journey with a destination yet unknown. While we're voyaging, we'll call ourselves thought travellers.
